How to Easily and Affordably Rid Your Home of Toxic, Chemical Home Cleaning Products

Let’s make eco-friendly and low cost cleaning products with ingredients you probably already have: vinegar, baking soda, alcohol, and water and one you may not, but will love: Dr. Bronner's soap.

 

We’ll also cover the use of essential oils to disinfect and sanitize naturally and without harsh chemicals and smells

 

Plus, we'll use and store them in reusable GLASS squirt bottles for safer, no leech plastic convenient use.

First, our most commonly used home cleaning product: all-purpose cleaner."

Water, Vinegar, Dr Bronners and Glass Bottle

In a glass squirt bottle, combine equal parts water and vinegar. Add a few drops of Dr. Bronner's soap for extra cleaning power.

Close the bottle and shake gently to mix the ingredients.

Simple, non toxic all-purpose cleaner that's safe for most surfaces in your home.

 

Next a natural scrubbing paste. I make just enough to use.  

Combine 1 TBS water 2 TBS baking soda until it forms a thick, spreadable paste consistency

Baking Soda Bronners Water and Glass Jar

Optional: Add a little Dr. Bronner's added cleaning power

Mix until you have a smooth paste.

Use scrubbing paste for tackling tough stains on sinks, countertops, and even tile grout

 

Now, let's make a disinfectant spray.

Alcohol, Water,1:1 ratio;  Tea Tree in Bottle, again Dr Bronner's if desired Shake well to mix the ingredients.

This disinfectant spray perfect for sanitizing frequently-touched surfaces like doorknobs, light switches, and countertops and for use when someone’s been sick, meat

Let’s talk about natural essential oils for antibacterial purposes and sanitizing surfaces.

Tea Tree, Lemon, Lavender, Eucalyptus

 

With their potent properties and delightful scents, essential oils offer a holistic approach to cleaning and disinfecting your home.

 

Let’s make a simple antibacterial spray.

 

In a glass spray bottle, combine water with a few drops of tea tree essential oil. Add alcohol IF you want.

 

Tea tree oil known for its antibacterial antiviral properties  making it a solid choice for sanitizing surfaces.

We can customize antibacterial spray with other essential oils known for their anti- microbial properties. lavender, eucalyptus, and lemon essential oils. also leave behind a refreshing scent, and none of that sharp harmful chemical smell most products leave behind.

That is NOT a sign of clean even though we have come to believe it is.
