5 Things That Taste Terrific, Are Calorie and Sugar Free
They say nothing tastes as good as being thin feels—but let’s take that deeper. True wellness isn’t just about a number on the scale; it’s about how we feel in our bodies and in our lives. In this video, I’m sharing 5 things that taste even better than any indulgence:

1. Being Fit & Strong 💪

2. Feeling Amazing ✨
“When was the last time you truly felt amazing? Waking up refreshed, energized, clear-headed—free from bloating, brain fog, or sluggishness? That feeling is better than any indulgence. It’s the result of choosing foods, habits, and thoughts that fuel your well-being.”

Meals and nutrition, alcohol and other substances, stress and hormone imbalance (which stress contributes to) lead to poor sleep which disrupts everything.
3. Having My Health
“Our greatest wealth is our health. Without it, nothing else matters. Prioritizing nutrient-dense foods, sleep, and movement isn’t about restriction—it’s about freedom. Freedom to live fully, chase dreams, and feel incredible every single day.”
I often reference Steve Jobs, and it’s not because - at the end all of his money fame and accomplishment couldn’t buy his health. 56 years old
I wonder if he had regrets. A lot attributed to him but not entirely sure. He did say in his 2005 stanford commencement address :
“Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose.”
Live your own life by the 80/20 rule in everything. 80% food, environment, skin IN, relationships, career and money.
4. True Connection & Community 🤝
“We often turn to food for comfort, but the deepest nourishment comes from connection. Sitting around a table with people who uplift you, having real conversations, feeling seen and loved—that fills you up in ways food never could.”
I don’t love eating out any more so I often join in and have a cup of hot tea or something if appropriate.
Connection and community are one common thread of the blue zones.
Quality over quantity and what I’ve learned - no BEST friend. I don’t care for labels.
5. Gratitude 🙏 Sounds cliche right, but try it.
“When we’re grateful, we’re truly satisfied. Gratitude shifts our focus from what we think we need, to realizing we already have so much. And that? That’s a fullness that lasts.”
I start the morning with my sheets, ha ha. The move to other things - simple - clean water, hot tea, my family, animals, incense, the morning sun, being alive.
Start your morning with a short list of gratitudes. Set a 1 minute timer, deep breathe and reflect.
Those are my 5 things that taste better than ANY food.
